SynGas heat module
The SÜLZLE KOPF SynGas heat module is suitable for combination with a sewage sludge dryer or for feeding energy into a heating network.
In this process, the energy from the sewage sludge is completely converted into heat so that the entire system of sewage sludge drying and utilisation can be thermally self-sufficient.

Sewage sludge with a dry content of 85% – 95%
Limestone for mixing as the first desulphurisation stage

Discharge and cooling of the phosphorus-rich and virtually carbon-free ash granulate
Coarse dedusting of the synthesis gas in a cyclone separator
Heat recovery from synthesis gas for supply in the fluidised bed reactor
Fine dedusting of the synthesis gas
Combustion of the dedusted and cooled synthesis gas

Process description heat module
Thermal treatment
1) Sewage sludge with a dry content of 85 – 95 %
2) Limestone for mixing as the first desulphurisation stage
3) Sub-stoichiometric incineration at 870 °C to produce synthesis gas. Destruction of all organic toxins.
4) Discharge and cooling of the phosphorus-rich and almost carbon-free ash granulate

5) Coarse dedusting of the synthesis gas in a cyclone separator
6) Heat recovery from synthesis gas for supply in the fluidised bed reactor
7) Fine dedusting of the synthesis gas
Combustion of the gas and heat extraction
