Together against the pandemic

SÜLZLE offers Corona vaccination to employees in Germany

19.04.2021

The right vaccination strategy against the corona virus is currently one of the most hotly debated topics in the country. The SÜLZLE Group is now setting a good example: The steel, plant engineering and environmental technology company is offering its employees at all German sites a corona vaccination from the company doctor as soon as possible.

The highest possible number of vaccinations is currently the most important weapon in the fight against the COVID 19 pandemic. But who gets vaccinated when, where and with what is still unclear for many people. The SÜLZLE Group has therefore decided to take matters into its own hands: In the coming weeks, the approximately 850 employees at the company’s 24 German sites will be able to get vaccinated against the coronavirus at their company doctor.

“We are absolutely convinced of the need for vaccination,” explains managing partner Heinrich Sülzle. “We can only defeat the pandemic together if we achieve herd immunity of over 70 percent as quickly as possible. As a family-run, medium-sized company, we are aware of our responsibility for employees and the region here and want to make a targeted contribution to returning to a regular life soon.”

“We are pleased that a medium-sized company like SÜLZLE is leading the way and working with us as a partner to offer its employees vaccinations.”

“Unfortunately, we do not yet know when and which vaccine we will receive and in what quantity. However, preparations are already underway internally so that we can get started immediately after the first vaccine delivery,” the company doctor continues.

The exact timing of the vaccinations currently still depends on when the federal government makes the required vaccines available. The offer is voluntary, and each employee will have the opportunity in advance to obtain detailed information about any potential or perceived risks. “The health of our employees is our top priority,” emphasizes Andreas Sülzle, also managing partner of the SÜLZLE Group. “That’s why we not only ensure optimal conditions directly at the workplaces, but also look beyond the horizon. We hope that as many companies as possible will follow our example so that the Corona chapter will soon be over for us.”
